- Accumulator
- An accumulator is a parlay used in football betting where wins multiply across all selections.
- Asian Handicap
- An Asian handicap splits the line into two parts, removing the draw and cutting the possible outcomes to two.
- Bankroll
- A bankroll is the total money you set aside for betting, kept separate from your regular spending.
- Bookmaker Margin (Overround)
- The bookmaker margin, or overround, is the extra probability built into odds beyond 100%, giving the book an edge.
- Cash Out
- Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event finishes, securing a profit or cutting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Decimal odds are a simple way to calculate total returns, including your stake, by multiplying the odds by your bet.
- Fractional Odds
- Fractional odds are a traditional UK format that shows profit relative to the stake, such as 5/1 meaning $5 profit for each $1 wagered.
- Handicap
- A handicap applies a points or goals adjustment to a team to level the betting odds.
- Juice (or Vig)
- Juice, also called vig, is the commission a bookmaker builds into odds to guarantee a profit.
- Live Betting (In-Play)
- Live betting, also called in‑play, is placing bets after a match begins while odds change in real time.
- Moneyline
- A moneyline is a straight bet on which team will win a match, with odds showing the favourite and underdog.
- Moneyline Odds
- Moneyline odds are US‑style odds that show how much you must wager (negative) or how much you win on a $100 bet (positive).
- Odds
- Odds represent the implied probability of an outcome and how much you can win.
- Outright Bet
- An outright bet is a wager on the final result of a tournament, such as which team will win the World Cup.
- Over/Under
- An over/under bet predicts whether the total number of goals, points, or other stats will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
- A parlay links two or more selections in one bet; every selection must win for the bet to pay, which raises the potential payout.
- Point Spread
- A point spread is the line a bookmaker sets to make two teams appear equally likely to win.
- Prop Bet
- A prop bet is a side wager on specific events inside a match, like who scores first or how many yellow cards are shown.
- ROI (Return on Investment)
- ROI measures net profit as a percentage of the total amount you have wagered.
- Stake
- The stake is the amount of money you wager on a single bet.
- System Bet
